Deauthorization

When you remove Manyview from your Instagram or Threads account settings, those platforms notify us automatically. This page explains what we do when that notification arrives.

What happens

1. Instagram or Threads sends a signed notification to Manyview identifying the account that was removed.
2. We verify the signature so we know the request genuinely came from Meta.
3. We locate the connected source in your Manyview project that matches that account.
4. We delete it, along with its stored access token and every metric we had collected for it.

The deletion is immediate and permanent. Nothing about that account is retained.

What is not affected

Removing an Instagram or Threads connection does not delete your Manyview account or any other source you have connected. Those keep working as before.

Doing it from inside the app

You can remove a connection at any time without going through Instagram or Threads: open the project in Manyview, tap the three-dot button on the source, and confirm. The result is the same.
