Privacy policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Manyview ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the Manyview mobile application (the "App"). We built Manyview with privacy as a core principle: we keep your data private, we don't sell it to third parties, and we only access it to the extent strictly necessary to operate the service.

Our privacy commitment

  • We don't sell your data. Ever. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
  • We don't access your data except as needed to operate the service. We don't read your social media content for analytics, training, or any purpose unrelated to delivering the features you signed up for.
  • You stay in control. You can disconnect your accounts and delete your data at any time.

Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account information. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a unique identifier and (depending on what you allow) your name and email address. We do not receive your password.
  • Subscription information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, your purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store using their native In-App Purchase system. Apple handles all payment details — we never see or store your card number, billing address, or Apple ID. We receive only a transaction identifier and your subscription status (active, expired, etc.) so we can unlock the right features in the App.

Information from connected social platforms

When you connect a social media account (such as Threads), we request access only to the metrics and account data needed to display analytics inside the App. This may include:

  • Account-level metrics: profile views, follower count, follower demographics, total likes, replies, reposts, quotes
  • Per-post metrics: views, likes, replies, reposts, quotes
  • Public profile information (username, profile picture)

We do not post on your behalf, read your private messages, or access content unrelated to analytics.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and diagnostic data. We may collect basic technical information (device model, iOS version, app version, crash logs) to keep the App running smoothly.
  • Usage data. Aggregate, non-identifying information about how features are used, so we can improve the App.

How we use information

We use the information we collect only to:

  • Authenticate you and keep your account secure
  • Display your social analytics inside the App
  • Manage your subscription status
  • Diagnose crashes and fix bugs
  • Communicate important service updates

We do not use your data to train AI models, build advertising profiles, or for any purpose unrelated to the App.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the limited service providers required to run the App:

  • Supabase — hosts our backend and stores your account data
  • Apple (App Store / In-App Purchase) — processes all subscription payments
  • Apple and Google — authenticate sign-in
  • Social platform APIs (e.g., Threads) — only to retrieve the analytics you requested

These providers are bound by their own privacy obligations and may only use your data to deliver their part of the service.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or to prevent fraud or abuse.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain certain records (e.g., billing).

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your data
  • Withdraw consent for data processing
  • Object to certain processing

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below. You can also delete your account directly from within the App at any time.

Children

Manyview is not intended for users under 13 (or under 16 in some regions). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use industry-standard security practices, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your information.

International users

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the App or by email before the changes take effect.
